Director of Marketing

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly tech-savvy, forward-thinking Director of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing efforts across all channels. This role requires a leader who not only understands modern marketing but actively leverages AI, automation, and emerging technologies to drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

The ideal candidate is a technology-first marketer with strong experience in mortgage, fintech, or financial services, and a proven ability to build scalable, data-driven marketing systems powered by AI.


Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, technology-driven marketing strategy aligned with business growth goals
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team (in-house + agencies)
  • Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous optimization
  • Partner with executive leadership to align marketing with revenue targets

2. Lead Generation & Performance Marketing

  • Own end-to-end lead generation across paid, organic, and partner channels
  • Optimize campaigns across:
    • Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube
    • SEO & content marketing
    • Affiliate and referral channels
  • Drive cost-efficient customer acquisition and continuously improve conversion rates

3. AI, Technology & Automation Leadership

  • Lead the adoption of AI-first marketing practices across the organization
  • Design and implement AI-powered workflows for:
    • Content generation and personalization
    • Campaign optimization and A/B testing
    • Lead scoring and predictive analytics
    • CRM automation and lifecycle marketing
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate modern marketing technologies (MarTech stack)
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and digital marketing, bringing innovative ideas into execution

4. Brand & Content Strategy

  • Strengthen Loan Factory’s brand positioning in the mortgage industry
  • Oversee content strategy including:
    • Website
    • Social media
    • Video and educational content
  • Leverage AI tools to scale high-quality content production while maintaining brand voice

5. CRM, Funnel & Conversion Optimization

  • Manage and optimize the full marketing funnel (awareness → conversion → retention)
  • Work closely with sales to improve lead quality and conversion rates
  • Optimize landing pages, email flows, and user journeys using data and automation

6. Data, Analytics & Growth Experimentation

  • Define KPIs and track performance across all marketing channels
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems for real-time decision-making
  • Drive a culture of rapid testing and iteration using data insights

7. Compliance & Industry Alignment

  • Ensure all marketing complies with mortgage and financial regulations
  • Align messaging with lending guidelines and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • 7–10+ years in marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, fintech, or financial services is a MUST
  • Strong expertise in performance marketing and lead generation
  • Proven track record of scaling customer acquisition

Technology & AI Requirements (Critical)

  • Highly tech-savvy and technology-forward mindset with a passion for innovation
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in marketing (e.g., ChatGPT, generative AI platforms, automation tools, predictive analytics)
  • Proven ability to implement AI-driven workflows and automation at scale
  • Strong understanding of MarTech stack, including CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), marketing automation, and analytics platforms
  • Comfortable evaluating and adopting new tools quickly; early adopter mentality

Preferred

  • Experience working with loan officers or broker networks
  • Knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, FHA, VA, etc.)
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000/year + yearly RSUs grants
  • Performance Bonus: Based on lead generation and revenue targets
